Day By Day
Day 1 | Sunday
Tel Aviv/Ashdod Port, Israel
Join us on board at 1.30PM, and get to know your home for the week, as well as our friendly crew and your fellow cabin mates. Settle in, make yourself at home, and we’ll depart for our overnight sail to Port Said, Egypt.
Day 2 | Monday
Port Said (For Cairo), Egypt
Think of Egypt and what comes to mind? We’re 99% sure it’s the Pyramids. Today’s your chance to see them up close and personal on our optional full-day excursion to Giza and Cairo. Join us back on board this evening as we set off on our overnight Canal Convoy through the Suez Canal.
Day 3 | Tuesday
Suez Canal Crossing, Egypt
Today is also spent crossing the Suez Canal. Yes, it takes a while to pass through (between 12 – 16 hours). Don’t worry, our onboard Egyptologist is here to help pass the time with an informative lecture about the ancient history of the country we’re exploring. By afternoon we’ll exit the canal and sail onwards to our next stop, Hurghada.
Day 4 | Wednesday
Sailing To Hurghada, Egypt
Day sailing – perfect time to meet the crew and relax! Late afternoon arrival to Hurghada. Overnight in Hurghada port.
Day 5 & 6 | Thursday & Friday
Luxor – Hurghada, Egypt
On days 5 and 6, we head inland to the ancient city of Luxor. The journey takes approximately 4 hours, passing through deserts sprinkled with pockets of fertile soil. This is a 2 day, 1 night excursion with complimentary transfers and luxe hotel accommodation. On-ground excursions in Luxor are optional and include the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Temple of Karnak, and the Luxor Temple. Come afternoon of day 6, we’ll head back to Hurghada and re-embark the ship for our overnight journey to Aqaba.
Day 7 | Saturday
Aqaba (For Wadi Rum), Jordan
Wadi means valley in Arabic, and Wadi Rum is the largest valley in Jordan. Weather and winds have carved the imposing, towering skyscrapers, made famous in the west by T.E. Lawrence. Yes, that’s Lawrence of Arabia. Join our 4×4 tour, or hike the wadi to discover 4000 year old rock drawings, bedouin camps, and the setting of numerous sci-fi movies. The entire area is also a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight in Aqaba port.
Day 8 | Sunday
Aqaba, Jordan

Wadi Rum
The dessert of Wādī Ramm, known also as “Valley of the Moon”, is the largest desert valley (wadi) in Jordan. This cut into the sandstone and granite rock desert valley has been used as a background setting of extra-terrace planets surface in numerous science-fiction films and since 2005 has become one of UNESCO’s protected World Heritage Sites.

Giza is most famous as the location of the Giza Plateau: the site of some of the most impressive ancient monuments in the world, including a complex of ancient Egyptian royal mortuary and sacred structures, the Great Sphinx, the Great Pyramid of Giza, and a number of other large pyramids and temples.
