An evening at the races
Join us for an evening at Royal Windsor Racecourse. Guests will meet at the 4* Oakley Court Hotel just upriver from the racecourse, where you will board your launch to take you to the races. A couple of glasses of Champagne on the journey will start the day off in the right manner.
Simon Double, horseracing manager will be on hand throughout to take you through the race card and offer some tips.
At the Racecourse you will enjoy full hospitality in the private suite overlooking the course. Set right on the bend of this prestigious racecourse, these suites offer spectacular views not only over the track, but over the stunning 165 acres of the venue.
Oakley Court
Oakley Court is a glorious Victorian mansion house set in 35 acres of English countryside on the banks of the River Thames between Windsor and Bray.
Described as offering the warmth of a family home with historic gothic roots it is the perfect base for your visit to Windsor.
You will stay in a Boathouse Riverview room, which has a blend of modern and antique touches.
Additional nights and room upgrades are available upon request.
The Fringilla & Sula
Guests will meet at Oakley Court just outside Windsor where there is plenty of parking for cars. From there you will board our private launches, the Fringilla and Sula for the cruise along the Thames to Windsor Racecourse. There will be 12 guest on each launch.
The trip is lovely, as you pass leave Oakley Court and pass Windsor Marina, Dorney Lake, to go through Boveney Lock. Our host on each launch will ensure you are topped up with Champagne for the journey.
Once we get to the racecourse it is only a short walk to your hospitality suite.
Simon Double – Horseracing Manager
With a wealth of experience in the racing industry, having managed successful racing syndicates at the highest level for 25 years, Simon will bring his expertise to the evening.
Hi co-founded Pat Eddery Racing with the then former 11-time champion jockey. He then successfully launched Harwoodds Racing Club before setting up his own company Solario Racing in 2010
Simon will be on hand all afternoon to run you through the form on the racecard. He will also be running a ‘fun’ tipster competition for just a £5 stake.
Hospitality at the Racecourse
Once at the racecourse we will take our places in the Hospitality Suite where we will serve drinks on arrival and the three-course buffet menu.
The Tote is just down the hall and you can take a short walk down to the Parade Ring to see the runners and riders.
With at least seven races on the cards there will be plenty of opportunity to back a winner or two.

Buffet is served throughout the evening.

21.30 Return to Oakley Court by your launch
