Εxplore the stunning islands of the Cyclades aboard our fully crewed 52 foot sailing yachts, Christianna VII and Malama. Our island-hopping sailing adventure is an ideal way to discover the islands of the Aegean in comfort and safety with our professional skipper aboard to look after you. Whether you are an experienced sailor or just looking for a relaxing introduction to sailing, this is the perfect blend of sun, sea and scenery. What’s more, booking by the cabin on our guaranteed weekly departures makes it easy. There are no hidden extras since the crew, yacht fuel, breakfast and light lunch and other costs are all included in the price.
Each New Day Brings Another Island To Explore
Set sail from Mykonos and explore the wonderful islands of Santorini, Naxos and Koufonisi amongst others before sailing back into Mykonos at the end of your first week. Explore the vibrant cosmopolitan island of Mykonos before leaving the yacht or, better still, continue for a second week of sailing. From here we will visit the islands of Schinoussa, Paros and Folegandros to name but a few, before sailing back towards Mykonos.
The Only Way To Travel
Our large comfortable yachts are the perfect vessels for your Greek sailing adventure, with 4 double cabins, all with en-suite facilities. A maximum of eight guests are on board, together with an experienced, professional skipper to look after you. Breakfast and a light lunch is included, to be enjoyed on deck whilst anchored in an idyllic bay. Enjoy a refreshing swim before or after lunch, the choice is yours.
A Voyage Of Discovery
After a day on the water with the wind in your hair, enjoy a sun-downer on deck before exploring the local area. We like to reach harbour in the afternoon so there’s plenty of time to relax, go sightseeing or swimming before choosing a waterside taverna for dinner. Sample the local specialities, which vary from island to island and make this a voyage of culinary discovery as well as exploring the historical and cultural delights of these beautiful islands.
Santorini & The Southern Cyclades – Week 1
Mykonos - Saturday
Arrivals and Departures. This unique island oozes chic and traditional charm in equal measure. Mykonos is one of the most popular islands in the Aegean and this island paradise has great beaches, great shopping, fabulous food and endless nightlife.
Naxos - Sunday
Naxos is the largest and most fertile island in the Cyclades. The Main town is fascinating, and the winding back streets are peppered with artisan boutiques and family run tavernas.
Koufonisi - Monday
From the largest to the smallest….Koufonisi offers unspoiled natural beauty, crystal clear emerald waters and a chance to experience the lesser Cyclades in all their glory.
Santorini - Tuesday
Santorini is probably the most photographed destination in the Mediterranean, and sailing through the caldera is a breathtaking experience.
Ios - Wednesday
Ios has been popular with back-packers, hippies and a vibrant alternative scene still exists on this island, also famed for some great watersports beaches. Visit the (supposed!) tomb of Homer – buried her after being unceremoniously dumped from a passing ship!
Paros - Thursday
Naoussa on the north of the island is our favourite – great chill out bars and a beautiful little fishing harbour as the backdrop to the sunset.
Mykonos - Friday
Arrivals and Departures. This unique island oozes chic and traditional charm in equal measure. Mykonos is one of the most popular islands in the Aegean and this island paradise has great beaches, great shopping, fabulous food and endless nightlife.
Santorini & The Southern Cyclades – Week 2
Mykonos - Saturday
Arrivals and Departures. This unique island oozes chic and traditional charm in equal measure. Mykonos is one of the most popular islands in the Aegean and this island paradise has great beaches, great shopping, fabulous food and endless nightlife.
Paros - Sunday
Paros, lying to the south-west of Mykonos, is relatively low-lying by Cycladic standards. Parakia is our usual stop here, and for those with a urge to explore, seek out the Church of 100 doors, where Christianity and Greek mythology meet.
Schinoussa - Monday
Schinoussa, the Island of the sun, is another gem in the crown of the lesser Cyclades. Small to say the least – indeed a full yacht with crew increases the population by 4% after stepping ashore! Enjoy one of the many hiking trails before sampling the local cuisine, something the locals are fiercely proud of.
Santorini - Tuesday
Iconic, dramatic and still an active volcano, Santorini is the best known island in the Cyclades and a trip to the perfect Cycladic town of Thera, perched on the edge of the caldera is a must. Top tip – go for local grown vegetables in the taverna – primarily nurtured from the morning dew, the concentrated flavours are amazing.
Folegandros - Wednesday
After the hustle and bustle of Santorini, Folegandros is a wonderfully relaxing island. Take an evening trip to the Chora, with more spectacular views of the Aegean.
Piso Livadhi - Thursday
Piso Livadhi is a small harbour and town on Paros, laid back and charming. Sit and sample the local catch with a glass of ice cold ouzo.
Mykonos - Friday
Arrivals and Departures. This unique island oozes chic and traditional charm in equal measure. Mykonos is one of the most popular islands in the Aegean and this island paradise has great beaches, great shopping, fabulous food and endless nightlife.
The Weather
The wind patterns in the Aegean are perfect for this sailing adventure, with breezes from force 2 to 5 in the early and later parts of the season. In August and early September, the Meltemi wind blows from the North, with slightly higher wind strengths. Our experienced crew will adjust the routes where necessary to ensure you enjoy the best experience on your cabin charter holiday.
Note: The above itinerary is indicative of the islands you may visit during your holiday. The actual itinerary and order of ports of call visited may be subject to change according to weather and operating conditions at the skipper’s discretion.
