Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is the world’s oldest and largest inhabited castle, symbolising Britain’s royal history and grandeur.
Located in the picturesque town of Windsor, Berkshire, this magnificent fortress has been a residence of British monarchs for over 900 years and remains a working royal palace today.
The castle’s imposing stone walls stand atop a hill for stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Explore the exquisitely adorned State Rooms, home to priceless works of art and exquisite furnishings, and marvel at the opulent St George’s Hall, where grand banquets and ceremonies are held. The chapel is the spiritual heart of the castle, serving as the resting place of several monarchs, including Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.
A visit to Windsor Castle also includes the famous Changing of the Guard ceremony, a quintessentially British tradition. The castle grounds, including the immaculately kept gardens and the iconic Round Tower, offer endless photo opportunities.
Windsor Castle is closed to visitors on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle is closed to visitors on Sundays. On rare occasions, the State Apartments may be closed.
Stonehenge
Stonehenge, located on the Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England, is one of the world’s most iconic and enigmatic landmarks. This prehistoric monument, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, dates back over 4,500 years and continues to captivate visitors with its mysterious structures and origins.
The site features a stunning circle of towering sarsen stones and smaller bluestones, some weighing up to 25 tons, arranged to align with the sun’s movements. This alignment has led to theories that Stonehenge was an ancient calendar, a site for celestial worship, or a place of spiritual significance.
Follow your Expert Guide and explore the Stone Circle, walk around the monument to experience its majesty up close, and visit the Stonehenge Visitor Centre, which houses fascinating exhibits and reconstructed Neolithic homes.
Bath
estled in the rolling hills of Somerset, Bath is a city of stunning Georgian architecture, rich heritage, and natural beauty. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bath is renowned for its honey-coloured stone buildings, including the iconic Royal Crescent and Pulteney Bridge, and its reputation as a spa town dating back to Roman times. Outside the Roman Baths, admire Bath Abbey and the Jane Austen Centre.
The Roman Baths are remarkably preserved, built over 2,000 years ago. This ancient site was constructed around the city’s natural hot springs, which the Romans believed to have healing properties. The Baths served as a hub for relaxation, worship, and socialising, attracting visitors across the Roman Empire.
